Sometimes I wonder why we tend to admire things that are rare.
Gold, diamond, platinum are all rare, and admired and collected by us.
Dirt on the other hand is commonplace.
When did commonplace become derogatory.
What was it like when most of us were honest? Was honesty considered to be commonplace and discarded because of it? Now an honest person is admired.
Makes you wonder when and why commonplace became derogatory...
